Sit about 1.0 times the screen diagonal away for a 4K screen, 1.2 times for 1440p and 1.4 times for 1080p, but never closer than 50 cm. The top of the screen goes at eye level (5 to 10 cm lower if you wear varifocals). Screen sizes are sold in inches, so we convert: 1 in = 2.54 cm.
