Litres and tins of paint for any room, with doors and windows taken off.
How this works
Wall area is the room perimeter times the wall height, minus about 1.9 m² per door and 1.5 m² per window. One litre covers about 12 m² per coat in matt, 11 m² in eggshell or silk and 10 m² in gloss. The ceiling gets 2 coats of matt white, and we round up to real 5 L, 2.5 L and 1 L tins.
