How this works
Grout kg per m² = (tile length + width) / (length x width) x tile thickness x joint width x 1.6, all in mm, plus 10%. Adhesive depends on the trowel notch: about 2.5 kg/m² for a 6 mm notch, 3.2 for 8 mm, 4 for 10 mm and 5 for 12 mm, plus about 1 kg/m² when back-buttering big tiles.
