Ramp length, slope and landings for wheelchair access, steps and garages.
How this works
Ramp length = rise x slope ratio. Wheelchair access rule (ADA and most codes) is 1:12 maximum, so 1 cm up needs 12 cm of ramp. A level landing of 1.5 m is needed every 76 cm of rise and at the top and bottom.
